| Okay. Finally at the end of my project and am having trouble starting car. Getting turnover but no start. I can crank over the car but not get an all around fire. Used a little starting fluid and the engine seems like it gets closer to wanting to fire but no dice. Did compression test on rebuilt engine - OK. Did coilpack ground to plenum test - OK, got spark. Spark plugs are all gapped - ok Fuel pump is kicking on and giving pressure - OK Fuel pump relay is in and good - OK Fuel Dampner/FPR/fuel filter are all brand new - OK Timing marks are all dead on - OK EFI harness is brand new - OK NOW, here is the puzzling part. I check the plugs to see if I am getting them wet. Three yes and three no. #2, #1 and #3 cylinders I am getting no real fuel smell. #4, #5 and #6 I am getting a good heavy wet smell. SO... in a nut shell. #5 - yes #6 - yes #3 - no #4 - yes #1 - no #2 - no Now, I ohm tested every plug and they ohm just fine. But when I do the CAS test I am only getting a clicking sounds from what sounds like only #5 and #6. For safe measure, I did an ECU diagnostic and ran a code 21. Code 21 is the ign coil, swapped it out for a good one, code went away and got a code 55. Problem persists though. The vehicle has sat for around 2 years and I just added fresh gas but I would say half and half is old and new. But we did use a Sta-bil additive before it went down. I don't think this is bad gas but possibly a bad injector issue. Is there something else I should be looking at or where should I point my attentions toward? Any of these items perhaps? PTU subharness, relays, bad CAS? or what I believe is the problem....3 bad injectors that are clogged but giving a good OHM for some reason. Would a bad injector coil still give a good OHM? Maybe stuck in an on position? Thanks in advance for any help.
